Detention hearing in the case against the artist who is detained for suspected assault in Stockholm on 30 June 2019

If such a time-limit for filing charges is not sufficient, the Prosecutor may request the period to be extended. It is for the Court to decide whether the time-limit is to be extended.

Today, the Court has received a request from the Prosecutor to extend the time to bring charges in this case until 25 July, 2019. This request, including the question of whether the artist should remain in custody, will be examined by the Court at a hearing taking place at 1 p.m. on Friday 19 July 2019 at Rådhuset, Scheelegatan 7, Room 8. The question of whether the other two persons should remain in custody will be examined at hearings in the same place, at 2 p.m. and 3.15 p.m. respectively.
